Property has always fascinated me, and I truly believe it’s the safest and most reliable way for the average middle-class person to build real wealth.
Believe me—I’ve tried everything: running active businesses like direct selling, IT development, consulting, Airbnb and eCommerce. And while each of those paths taught me something, nothing comes close to property when it comes to leverage, safety, and long-term growth.
I bought my first property at 24 and built a portfolio of six properties before moving to Australia in 2016.
When I arrived, the Sydney property market felt completely out of reach. Like many new immigrants, I was focused on finding a job and just figuring out how to survive.
But I didn’t give up.
In 2018, I bought my first investment property here in Brisbane for $265,000 and set out to build a new portfolio. Since then, I’ve grown it to be worth over $3.5 million—and I continue to build it.
The journey wasn’t easy. I’ve seen it all—seminars full of “property gurus” promising automated equity, tax tricks, and “no money down” deals. Agents pushing off-the-plan apartments with glossy brochures, inflated prices, and claims about tax benefits designed more to sell the property than to help the buyer. I made mistakes, but I learned fast.
That’s when I realised: if I can do it—through trial, error, and persistence—then I can help others do it better and faster.
That’s why I founded SharpInvestors: to help people make smarter property investment decisions based on strategy, data, and real experience—not hype.
I love mentoring people who feel too scared or overwhelmed to take that first step—whether it’s buying their first home to live in or starting their investment journey. I also work with investors who feel stuck, maybe because they’ve maxed out their borrowing capacity or hit a plateau with their portfolio.
